About the 
​Project 

The Hippocrates AI Assistant Project is an innovative initiative aimed at redefining the diagnosis and management of heart diseases through artificial intelligence. The project was born from a personal medical experience with Brugada Syndrome, a rare but life-threatening heart condition.
Recognizing the significant gaps in existing diagnostic methods and the decision-making process for life-saving treatments, the project leverages artificial intelligence to analyze vast amounts of cardiological data with accuracy, speed, and reliability, using advanced machine learning algorithms.
The vision is the integration of this technology into the healthcare system, ensuring that patients at increased risk of sudden cardiac death receive timely and accurate assessments, bringing artificial intelligence into the future of cardiology.
 Aims at early detection, risk assessment, and improving medical decisions for cardiologists and healthcare professionals.
The project was officially launched on July 28, 2024. Since then, it has been in a continuous development phase, with steady and substantial progress recorded daily, aiming at the successful completion of the predefined objectives. This is a Greek project, developed in the city of Patras.

As the Creator of the Project, I take on the leadership and strategic direction of the project, from the conception of the idea to its implementation. I am responsible for setting goals and priorities, selecting the technology and tools to be used, as well as organizing the team. At the same time, I coordinate the various development phases of the project, ensuring that all resources are utilized effectively to achieve the final goal. As the Founder & Head of Vision, I am committed to shaping the long-term direction and identity of the project, ensuring that every decision aligns with its core values and purpose.

 My story

​I am Michael Grivas and this is my story.
​It all started during the period of 2021-2022 when I faced a serious health challenge. I was hospitalized due to a diagnosis of acute myocarditis, but the real turning point came when this condition "triggered" a congenital syndrome I had been unaware of until then.
Brugada Syndrome is a genetic disorder that causes irregular electrical activity in the heart, significantly increasing the risk of dangerous arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death. It affects approximately 1 in 5,000 people in Europe, while in Asia, the prevalence can be as high as 1% of the population. The most concerning aspect is that it primarily affects men (8:1) and is inherited in an autosomal dominant pattern.
​After struggling for three consecutive months, being transferred from hospital to hospital, I was finally diagnosed with the most severe form of the disease : Brugada Syndrome Type 1. The situation was critical, and the doctors, after great concern and thorough evaluation, debated whether I should receive an implantable defibrillator.

​Goals

► Collect and analyze large-scale medical datasets (big data) to continuously train and optimize algorithms through machine learning techniques.
► Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in health technology (GDPR, ISO, EU MDR), making the system ready for wide clinical deployment.
► Develop personalized predictive models of cardiac risk based on each patient’s medical history, genetic predisposition, and clinical data.
► Conduct pilot studies in real-world medical environments to evaluate the system’s effectiveness, safety, and usability.
► Foster collaboration between the medical community and AI engineers, creating an interdisciplinary ecosystem around clinical artificial intelligence.
► Develop a user-friendly interface (UX/UI) to enable intuitive use by healthcare professionals without requiring technical expertise.
► Ensure interoperability with existing systems such as HIS, PACS, and EHR, promoting seamless clinical integration.
► Expand adoption through international healthcare networks and academic partnerships, establishing a global benchmark in diagnostic technology.
► Continuous evaluation and updating of algorithms through feedback from real clinical cases, aiming to maintain high accuracy, reliability, and adaptability to new scientific developments.

April 9, 2025  The project participated in the Greek Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Crazy Business Idea 2025, held in Athens, and was awarded 2nd place among many notable proposals. This recognition confirms the innovative approach and high quality of the idea, providing strong momentum for its further development and successful implementation. This acknowledgment represents a significant milestone that reinforces the commitment to continuous improvement and growth, aiming to create meaningful value in the market and society.
